Miracle Treat Day returning to support sick and injured kids

Dairy Queen is bringing back its 17-year-old tradition of fundraising this August. Thursday, August 8 will be Miracle Treat Day sending proceeds raised through the sale of every blizzard treat to the Stollery Children’s Hospital. The children’s hospital in Edmonton is one of the 12 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across Canada.

It’s believed that every minute, 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment. These hospitals rely on community donations to ensure each child receives the best possible care. Dairy Queen hopes to continue the support this upcoming Miracle Treat Day. The partnership began in 1984 and Dairy Queen has raised more than $135 million to-date in support of sick and injured children across North America.
