Alleyway reconstruction to continue behind downtown church

Reconstruction on the alleyway behind Grace United Church is set to continue on Monday, July 29. The city is partnering with North Blacktop to continue the project between 48 street and 46 street at 7 a.m.

The project is scheduled to conclude Friday, August 16 at 7 p.m., weather permitting. New catch basins were installed on existing sewer lines earlier this month by the city and Top Grade Construction Ltd. Catch basins allow rainwater and snowmelt to enter the storm sewer system. The city advises drivers and pedestrians to follow marked construction signage and drive courteously when passing workers.
