An investigation is underway, as RCMP found a man who had been shot in the foot at a residence in the Town of Battleford. This is the second shooting Battleford mounties have responded to this week.
Police say they found the injured man outside the 300 block of 28th Street home after responding to a call of shots fired in the early morning on August 2.
The man, who is in his early 20’s, was sent to Battlefords Union Hospital by EMS to treat non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing and charges are pending.
