Lloydminster Bobcats goalie Alex Leclerc has been suspended 5 games for kicking.
While playing the Whitecourt Wolverines on Friday, September 25, the netminder kicked Whitecourt forward Taden Rattie in the second period, and was assessed a match penalty. After the game, the team was told of the suspension.
Leclerc was held out of Saturday, September 26th’s game in Grande Prairie. His first opportunity to return will be Wednesday, October 7th’s game against the Spruce Grove Saints.
