UPDATE: 50th Street road closure begins Monday

UPDATE:  The City says 50th Street between 49th Avenue and 50th Avenue as well as 50 Avenue between 48 and 51 street will be closed this Sunday between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The City of Lloydminster is notifying residents of a road closure on 50th Street between 57 Avenue to 59 Avenue starting August 12. Crews will be conducting spot patching and overlay on the roads in the area, finishing the project by paving new asphalt.

The road maintenance is expected to be completed by August 23, weather permitting. The city advises residents to follow construction signs and “drive courteously when passing construction crews.”
