Melfort RCMP lay impaired driving charges

The Melfort RCMP has charged a 23-year-old man with impaired driving causing bodily harm. Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover on a grid road 7 kilometres north of Kinistino, Sask. at about 5 p.m. on August 10. A pickup truck with two adult men and two adult women was travelling northbound when the driver lost control.

Two of the passengers received minor injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment. The third passenger was transported via STARS Air Ambulance to Saskatoon for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital, treated and released to RCMP. Creedon Dipaolo of James Smith First Nation faces charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm. He will make his first court appearance on September 24 in Melfort Provincial Court.
