Home Hardware to host Artisan Night Market

Lloydminster will be hosting an Artisan Night Market to celebrate talented locals of Lloydminster and area. The market kicks off on the evening of Thursday, August 22, for people to view and enjoy some local artistic talent.

About forty vendors will be attending to showcase their works. It’s offering the public the chance to support artists in a whole new way; under the lights of the “night market” in the Home Hardware Garden Centre. The Timber Café will feature a specially crafted menu and Brianna Gammond is set to provide local entertainment. The Home Hardware Building Centre hopes to celebrate how much it has grown in the last 20 years.

In a statement, the Rurka family who operates the Home Hardware Building Centre says that artisans, makers and growers are what makes communities unique and that they want to showcase local talent. The evening kicks off at 6 p.m., with appetizers and cocktails available for purchase in Timber Café starting at 4 p.m.
