Lloydminster Bobcats forward Noah Bauld commits to Cornell

Lloydminster Bobcats forward Noah Bauld has committed to Cornell University of the NCAA.

The 18-year-oldĀ is in his first year with the club, and had an immediate impact, scoring 6 goals in the preseason. Bauld missed the first two regular season games with the flu, but since then has score 6Ā goals and 2Ā assists in 10 games.

ā€œI am very honoured to be given the opportunity to play at a school with such excellentĀ athletic and academic programs,ā€ said Bauld. ā€œPlaying Division I hockey has been a hugeĀ goal for me ever since I made the decision to attend prep school, and to make aĀ commitment to play at Cornell University is a dream come true.ā€

Including Bauld, the 2015-16 Bobcats now boast eight players who have alreadyĀ committed to NCAA programs.

He joins Kevin Darrar, who has committed to Holy Cross, Cole JosefchakĀ and Alex PernitskyĀ withĀ Colorado College, Christian Lloyd withĀ Sacred Heart, Nick Quillan and Evan Tschumi withĀ Colgate University, and Troy Van Tetering with theĀ UniversityĀ of Alaska-Fairbanks.
