Smile cookie fundraiser hits new records

Tim Horton’s popular fundraising initiative continues to grow in the Border City and throughout the country.

Lloydminster raised $17,488 from purchasing smile cookies during the week of September 16 to 22. The initiative raised almost $200 more than in 2018. All proceeds are going towards KidSport Lloydminster to support youth sports in the city.

The campaign hit a new record for money raised across Canada with $9.8 million for 550 charities in the country.
