Access Pipeline donates to Aurora Middle School in Lac La Biche

Aurora Middle School in Lac La BicheĀ is celebrating after a large donation to its Youth Achievement Program.

Access Pipeline has donated $10,000 to the program, which provides hands-on learning opportunities forĀ a number of careers, including trades.

ā€œThe hands-on opportunities providedĀ through YAP engage students inĀ learning and help prepare them for theĀ world of work once they graduate,ā€Ā said NLSD Board Chair Arlene Hrynyk.Ā ā€œThese enhanced learningĀ opportunities would not be possibleĀ without the support YAP receives fromĀ Access and our other corporateĀ sponsors.ā€

“Access values the youth and the region where we operate. We are veryĀ pleased to be a part of this excellent initiative,” said Stuart Carter, LandĀ and Environmental Lead for Access Pipeline.

The donation marks the second straight year the company has supported the initiative.
