Two Lloydminster residents have been released on bail after being charged with drug trafficking.

On Thursday, October 8, the RCMP pulled over a car in the 4700 of 50 Avenue, and found 10 grams of methamphetamine, 7 fentanyl pills, and over $6,000 in cash.

33-year-old Dustin Caplette and 29-year-old Jolene Wildeman face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a controlled substance. Caplette was also ticketed for driving uninsured, displaying an unauthorized license plate, and driving without a license.
