As Battlefords RCMP were responding to a firearm complaint at 2 a.m. on October 22, they intercepted a vehicle driving away from the area at a high speed. They pursued the vehicle and found it stopped at a home where the driver was seen fleeing on foot.

The suspect was not caught but was identified and the vehicle and a gun were seized.
