Due to the recent snowfall, the City of Lloydminster will be collecting organic green bin waste two times a month starting on Monday, November 4.
During winter, the city sees 80 per cent less green bin collections. Weekly collections will start again in the spring. This change is estimated to save over $30,000 annually.
Residents are reminded to remove garbage and green bins off the road in a timely manner once winter starts.
