Bonesville man arrested for murder

A Bonesville, Alberta man has been charged with second degree murder.

On Saturday, October 17, the police found a 63-year-old man dead in his home in the community.  36-year-old Murray Cardinal was arrested in Edmonton in connection with the crime. The police say the victim and Cardinal were known to each other.

An autopsy on the body was performed on Tuesday, October 20, and Cardinal appeared in court Thursday, October 22. The name of the dead man has not been released.

Bonesville is located 10 kilometres south of Lac La Biche
