North Battleford, Lloydminster and area Remembrance Day ceremony times and locations

Remembrance Day ceremonies are taking place across Lloydminster and surrounding areas to celebrate those who fought for our country.

The Border City ceremony will take place at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School, where it has over the past couple of years. Those attending are asked to be seated by 10:30 a.m. The Legion Branch #39 is inviting residents to stop by once the ceremony is done.

For Vermilion residents, the Remembrance Day outdoor ceremony will take place at the cenotaph after a march from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11. The ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m.

In Lashburn, those attending the ceremony at the Community hall are asked to be seated by 10:30 a.m.

As for Wainwright, the public is invited to attend the wreath ceremony at the Memorial Clock Tower Cenotaph at 9:30 a.m. followed by the annual service at the Communiplex for 10:30 a.m.

North Battleford will have its Remembrance Day parade from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will begin from 14th Avenue at 100th Street to John Paul Collegiate for the Remembrance Day ceremonies. After the ceremonies, the parade will return to 100th Street along 15th Avenue.
