City of Lloydminster to hold public feedback session

The City of Lloydminster is encouraging residents to attend “Your Voice” night on Tuesday, November 3.

The night has been organized by city hall in order to gather public feedback on a number of city initiatives, and will be held at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School. The city says the session is meant to be the first in a series of events, to give residents the opportunity to share their views often.

“The ‘Your Voice’ series is intended to create a welcoming, constructive environment where residents may express opinions, share ideas or simply collect information on City initiatives and programs being proposed,” said Mayor Rob Saunders. “Our residents are incredibly engaged and have a vested interest in helping the City of Lloydminster establish priorities – creating pro-active solutions tailored to our community.”

At the top of the list for discussion will be the review of the Code of Conduct for Elected officials, but they city says they will also discuss the Transportation Master Plan, Facilities Master Plan, Downtown Revitalization, Proposed Land Use Bylaw, and the Community Housing Initiative Program.

The meeting will take place from 5 to 8 p.m.
