RCMP arrest four drug trafficking suspects in Fishing Lake

Four people arrested during traffic stop’s in the Fishing Lake area are now facing charges of trafficking meth. Elk Point RCMP says the first pair of arrests took place on December 2nd.

Police attempted to stop two males they believed to have been previous offenders. The traffic stop took place after the vehicle tried to avoid mounties, eventually turning on a dead-end road.

31-year-old Kevin Stahn and 34-year-old Fergus Brosseau of Fishing Lake were arrested and charged on outstanding warrants. The pair were charged with a combined 11 offences including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The next day, an officer patrolling in Fishing Lake was tipped off by a resident that there was a wanted individual in town. Mounties stopped the vehicle arresting 39-year-old Kristen Podolecki of Sputinow and 23-year-old Chelsea McAdam of Frog Lake who was arrested and charged for possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.

Podolecki was also charged with a break and enter that occurred last month in Lloydminster.

All four of the accused will appear in St.Paul provincial court on December 19th.
