Vermilion grain elevator set for 2021 completion

Vermilion farmers are sure to save time delivering grain to their fields as G3 announces a new facility. The company announced the new G3 grain elevator in Vermilion on December 12th along with Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

The elevator located close to 61 kilometres away from Lloydminster will have a capacity of 34,000 tonnes. The modern grain elevator features fast truck unloads, a railway loop track that can quickly load a 150-car train.

Along with the newly built facility in Maidstone, the new location will provide good access to the market and to the G3 terminal in Vancouver which opens in 2020.

Construction of the Vermilion grain elevator is set to take place in early 2020, pending final regulatory approvals, with completion in 2021.
