Two men are facing charges after RCMP stopped a speeding vehicle and found cocaine in the vehicle.
On December 13, Saskatchewan RCMP stopped a vehicle on Highway 16 near Maidstone for speeding and an equipment violation.
The stop turned into a drug trafficking investigation and in a search, Mounties found 143 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine. A small amount of cannabis was also seized in the search.
Besmellah Bakhshi of Edmonton and Miguel Pineda of Regina are charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply.
Both are in custody and will make their first appearances in Lloydminster Provincial Court on December 16.
