UPDATE: Man turns himself in for driving into unattended Kitscoty RCMP vehicle

UPDATE: An 18-year-old man turned himself in to police on December 21.

He was charged with driving carelessly and driver in an accident with unattended vehicle failing to locate and notify the owner.

He will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on January 21, 2020.

Kitscoty RCMP are looking for a Dodge pickup truck and its driver that were involved in a hit and run with one of their parked police vehicles.

At around 11:30 p.m. on December 17, a vehicle collided with the Kitscoty RCMP Detachment sign and one of the parked police vehicles. The suspect drove off without reporting the collision.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a mid to late 2000’s Dodge pickup truck that is white or silver and has damage to the passenger side headlight area.
