Battlefords RCMP charge two people in relation to assault

Two people have been charged in connection to the assault of an employee at a Battlefords business.

Battlefords RCMP was called to a business on the 100 block of 22 Street in Battleford on December 27 at 2 p.m. An employee was assaulted by two people but the situation was over before RCMP arrived on the scene.

No one was seriously injured. RCMP performed an investigation and arrested 44-year-old Deanne Raquel Caron and 69-year-old Lyle Ernest Caron

Both are charged with mischief to property and possession of a dangerous weapon. Deanne was also charged with uttering threats and assault.

They have been released on court conditions and will be in court again in the new year.
