Lloydminster RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding an armed thief.
In the evening of Wednesday, October 28, a man entered a business in the 5700 block of 44 Street, posing as a customer buying a bottle of liquor. When he got to the counter, the man pulled out a knife, and demanded cash from the till.
The man has been described as 5′ 8″, with a slim build, around 140 lbs, wearing blue jeans, a grey hoodie, dark jacket, and a facemask.
“These situations are always unnerving for those involved,” said Constable Grant Kirzinger. “It is best to co-operate with the individual and call 9-1-1 immediately, as no property or money is worth risking your personal safety.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Lloydminster RCMP at (780) 808-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
