RCMP search for man involved in two Lloydminster robberies

Lloydminster RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a man believed to be involved in two robberies.

A business in the 1500 block of 50 Avenue was robbed by a man using a hammer to threaten the clerks in the early afternoon of January 27. Fifteen minutes later, another store was robbed in the 5600 block of 50 Avenue. No one was injured in either incident and police believe the same suspect was involved in both.

The man was wearing blue pants, a yellow bandana, a toque and was carrying a red backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400. Those who want to stay anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
