Local author’s book lands on renowned business magazine list

A Lloydminster author is getting a boost in sales after his book landed on one of Forbes’ lists.

Jeff Hilderman wrote Clone Yourself, a book filled with tips for entrepreneurs on how to make their business more efficient. The book was featured on the 20 Books that will make you a better coach or mentor list. Hilderman says he’s surprised and humbled by the addition.

“Forbes in the business world is the pinnacle of recognition. It’s going to open up some other doors. I’ve always considered myself a small-town person and to be recognized on that level really shows if you work hard enough anything is possible.”

Hilderman was first made aware of his book making the list after noticing his book sales.

“Usually to get on those kinds of lists you have to apply and do all sorts of things but I had seen a surge in my book sales and I wasn’t sure why. I googled my name and looked into it and I appeared on this list.”

The book is based on personal experience managing small businesses. The book is a step-by-step guide on building a business and automating it by creating a team that understands the business.

“What I see time and time again is that dream business prevents you from living that dream life that you’re chasing. For one reason or another, these entrepreneurs end up being the bottleneck of their business and become stuck. The book is about learning how to instil your passion in others and automating everything to build a business and life that you love.”

Hilderman is a leadership coach and the founder of All-Star Academy. He says his next big project is building an online course based on his book which he hopes to have done by the end of the year.
