UPDATE: Reprinted assessment notices being sent out to property owners

UPDATE: The City is advising residents of a printing error on the released previous property assessment notices. The reverse side of the notice contained unrelated water billing information and a reprinted notice will be sent out in the mail in the coming days.

The City says no personal information was compromised with the error and apologizes for any confusion.

The City of Lloydminster says residents will begin to receive their property assessments this week.

The residential and non-residential property assessments are based on the market value as of July 1, 2019. Property owners are asked to review the notices in order to confirm that the information is correct.

Assessment and tax information may be accessed year-round by setting up an account on the Virtual City Hall website. Property owners may also sign up for paperless notifications by contacting the Assessment & Taxation Department.

Property owners who do not receive their notice by March 2nd are asked to contact Assessment and Taxation by email at [email protected] or phone at 780-875-6184, Ext. 2124. The deadline to file an assessment complaint is Monday, April 20, 2020.

Anyone with questions about their assessment can attend the City of Lloydminster Property Assessment Open House at 11 a.m. on March 12th at City Hall
