Synergy one of Saskatchewan’s top employers for third straight year

Synergy Credit Union is being recognized as one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers for the third year in a row. Companies across the province were evaluated by editors at Canada’s Top 100 employer’s using criteria such as training and skills development and community involvement.

Serving 10 branches in Lloydminster and surrounding areas, CEO Glenn Stang believes the company has a great team.

“Our cultural journey started back in 2005. Every year you set new targets, make subtle changes and over a period of time they add up to big things. Our workplace culture is second to none for sure.”

Stang says the company focuses on people first in order to make sure everyone is well trained for their job and serve members the best.

“Leaders are really integral to fostering a very healthy work environment, which really inspires and empowers people to be the best at their job every day.”

The company also looks to be a huge part of the Lloydminster with Synergy staff volunteering for over 7800 hours in 2019 in different aspects of the community.
