City Hall announces CHIP deadline extension

The City of Lloydminster has announced a deadline extension for applications to the Community Housing Initiative Program.

The program assists homeowners with a down payment on a new home, as long as they meet certain criteria, which includes extensive volunteer work in the community.

The deadline for the program initially passed on Wednesday, November 4, but the city says they will now accept applications until November 18th.
