One woman taken to hospital after alleged drive-by shooting

Battlefords RCMP is investigating an alleged drive-by shooting that sent one woman to the hospital.

Mounties were called to the 1300 block of 97th Street in North Battleford after reports of several gunshots at around 4:30 a.m. on February 28. Officers arrived on scene and found a residence that was hit multiple times.

Seven adults were in the residence at the time and a woman was hit and taken to the hospital by EMS for treatment. No one else was injured.

The North Battleford Gang Task Force located a suspect vehicle that same morning which led them to arrest two men and two women. The investigation is still ongoing.

RCMP do bot believe the incident was random and could be related to the drug trade. They ask anyone with information or video of the incident to call the North Battleford Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
