UPDATE: The RM of Wilton has ceased operations until April 1st. Essential services will remain in place and administration staff will be working remotely from home for the time being. They recommend residents to use the E-service request on their website.
Onion Lake Cree Nation has closed their offices to the public but have staff available to answer questions. Sanitation packages are being delivered to high-risk families and Food Banks remain open.
Communities surrounding Lloydminster are putting their COVID-19 response plans into place and are limiting access to public buildings.
The City of North Battleford will close a number of facilities starting March 18 as part of their pandemic plans. The Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre, NationsWest Field House, the Allan Sapp Gallery – The Gonor Collection, Chapel Gallery, the Civic Centre Arena and the Don Ross Arena will be closed.
The city is also closing access to the North Battleford Fire Hall, Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Waste Management Facility will stay open to the public.
Programs and drop-in classes run by the Leisure Services are postponed with membership being extended for the length of time of the closures.
The Town of Battleford has implemented their pandemic plan and will be closing access to the facilities beginning midnight on March 20. Access will be closed to the arena, the archery range and Alex Dillabough Centre. The town is also restricting access to the Fire Hall, the Lagoon and the Water Treatment Plant.
All town facilities in Vermilion including the town office are closed to the public. Council meetings have also been closed to the public.
Kitscoty is shutting down their District Community and Seniors Centre for the time being. All rentals and in-house activities have been suspended.
The Village of Innisfree has closed their village administration office, the seniors drop-in centre, the library, the recreation centre, curling rink and agriplex.
The County of Vermilion River office is closed to the public as is the gas utility shop and public works shop. They ask that ratepayers call or email for questions and payments can be done online.
The RM of Britannia’s offices are still open and have enacted extra cleaning measures in the office.
The RM of Frenchman Butte has closed public access to their municipal office and shop until further notice. They recommend contacting staff by phone for any questions residents may have.
The RM of Wilton have closed their offices to the public and are running with limited administration staff. They will continue working with residents using e-service requests through their website or by phone. Public works is still operational and the seed plant is open but follows provincial recommendations by ensuring social distancing.
The MD of Wainwright will remain open but recommend people only come to the office for essential services. They ask to call the office or e-mail staff for questions about bill payments or applying for permits. Services are also offered online through their website.
All closed facilities will remain closed until further notice.
