Wainwright parks and rec facilities closed

Wainwright will be closing all of their Parks and Recreation facilities due to COVID-19.

As a response to the closures, the town is also putting into place plans for people who’ve already spent money on the upcoming programs. All memberships have been extended for the number of days the closures are in place.

Everyone who registered for the upcoming spring set of swim classes will receive credits for as many classes as are affected by the cancellation. If needed, a partial set of spring lessons will also run.

All “Fit Punch” cards with remaining punches will also still be valid for the start of fitness classes in September.

Residents are encouraged to keep an eye on the town’s website for updates.
