Synergy Credit Union donates $25k to assist local healthcare workers

Synergy Credit Union is supporting local healthcare workers get the personal protective equipment they need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Synergy has donated $25,000 to the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund. The money will go towards purchasing coveralls and hazmat suits, face shields, full face respirators and other necessary equipment for hospital staff. Funds will go towards both the Lloydminster Hospital and Maidstone Hospital.

“We are just trying to do our part as a community builder to help out where it is needed and the most important asset, we have right now is our frontline health-care workers,” CEO Glenn Stang says.
