UPDATE: Woman facing charges in connection to theft at Wainwright bar

UPDATE: RCMP say 34-year-old Jennifer Ness from Forestburg was identified with the help of public tips.

Ness is facing a charge of theft over $5,000 at will be appearing in Wainwright Provincial Court on August 20, 2020.

Wainwright RCMP are looking for a female suspect in connection with theft at a bar in town.

Around 5:30 P.M on March 6th, police were called after a woman, who had allegedly been there for several hours, stole money and then fled the bar.

She is described as 5’6, approximately 180 pounds with chin length brown hair, an under-shave and blonde tips. She was also carrying a pink wallet.

Police say anyone with information or who is able to identify the suspect should call their local police detachment or CrimeStoppers.
