Fourteen recoveries, one new COVID-19 case in Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan Government says new data shows over 70 per cent of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the province have recovered.

In their April 16th update, the province says there are now 219 recoveries and 82 actives out of 305 verified COVID-19 cases.

In the North Zone, which holds Lloydminster and area, there are nine active confirmed cases and 48 recoveries.

The Government is also reminding people that they should not put non-COVID medical concerns on hold during this time. For their health, they’re encouraged to get in touch with their doctor to determine a course of action and make use of the emergency room when needed.

So far, 21,569 people have been tested for COVID in Saskatchewan, with 20,331 negatives.
