Cold Lake RCMP lay additional charges against massive fraud suspect

Cold Lake RCMP have announced additional charges against Ashley Jorgenson.

Jorgenson was arrested Monday, September 19, for extensive credit card fraud against businesses throughout northeastern and central Alberta. She was initially charged with 56 charges, including fraud, using stolen credit cards, and possession of a forged document.

Through further investigation, the RCMP say that they have laid an additional 67 charges against Jorgenson, including using forged credit cards, obtaining food with a counterfeit credit card, and violating conditions of her release. The new charges brings the total number to 123 charges.

She will appear in court in Cold Lake through CCTV on Wednesday, November 25.
