Alberta saw the biggest increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases but no new cases were reported in the Alberta Central zone. There is a total of 76 cases in the zone with one active case in the MD of Wainwright and one recovered case in both Lloydminster and the County of Vermilion River.
Another four Albertans have died over the past 24-hours. Fifty-five people have died in relation to COVID-19 in Alberta.
Province-wide, 241 new cases were reported bringing the total up to 2,803 cases. Of the cases, the exposure is known for 1,514 of them and 539 cases are travel-related while 488 are unknown. Over 97,000 tests were done with 8,978 of them in the Central zone.
