Cold Lake RCMP have arrested a taxi driver for drug trafficking.
The police say that on Friday, November 20, they arrested 59-year-old Phyllis Walsh for selling cocaine out of her taxi. The police say the arrest was the result of Project RECAPP, a lengthy investigation into the illicit drug trade in the city conducted by Cold Lake RCMP and the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team.
Walsh has been released on bail, but will appear in court in Cold Lake on Wednesday, December 9.
