Bea Fisher Bottle Depot to re-open

After a five-week closure, The Bea Fisher Bottle Depot is re-opening their doors.

The depot was previously closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but as restrictions begin to be lifted Bea Fisher will be resuming operations May 1st in an altered capacity, keeping worker and patron safety in mind.

As of Friday, they will allow six customers in the depot at any given time, with only one customer per household. Lineups will be staggered two meters apart along the north end of the building. The lane on the north side of the depot will also be closed to traffic during regular business hours.

In an effort to minimize contact and reduce wait time, the Bottle Depot has also opened an express area on the south side of the building.  People can drop off pre-sorted and counted recycles and collect their refund there. Bags deposited will need to be pre-counted and sorted into cans, plastics over or under one litre, milk, tetra packs and paper. Glass should be placed in boxes.

Another express lane will be opened for people with one bag.  The recycle donations box will also be on the south side of the building. There will be another donation trailer located outside the Lloydminster Superstore.

Regular business hours are still 8 AM-4 PM.
