Multiple animal carcasses left outside of Lloydminster

A charity that helps Saskatchewan Conservation Officers is looking for information on an incident found outside of Lloydminster.

Sasktip says a number of different animal carcasses were found about 5.5 miles east of Lloydminster on Township Road 492 on April 21. The bones from six deer and one moose as well as the carcasses of 13 beavers, nine red foxes and four muskrats were identified. Five of the foxes had snares attached to them. 

The improper disposal of carcasses is considered littering and anyone with information is asked to call the TIP line at 1-800-667-7561.
