190 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta, two more deaths

There were 190 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Alberta bringing the total number of cases to 5,355.

The province also saw a big jump in recoveries as 208 more people are now considered to have recovered from the virus. Across the province, there have been a total of  2,161 recoveries.

Two new deaths were reported in the AHS South zone and 89 people have died in relation to COVID-19.

Almost 149,000 tests have been processed since the onset of the pandemic.

There is one new case in the Central zone bringing the total up to 85 cases. There is one active case and one recovery in the County of Vermilion River, one recovery in the MD of Wainwright and one recovery in Lloydminster.
