SHA issues PSA after postive COVID-19 diagnosis at Meadow Lake CO-OP service centre

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is issuing a public service announcement after someone at the Meadow Lake Co-Op Service Centre tested positive for COVID-19.

After a further investigation by public health authorities, SHA is advising people who were in the store on Sunday, April 26 or on the morning of Tuesday, April 28 to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, and should these symptoms develop, to self-isolate for 14 days and contact Healthlink 8-1-1. These symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose
  • A diminished sense of smell or taste.

Anyone with concerns about this or any COVID-19 situation should also get in touch with HealthLink 8-1-1 or their community health centre.
