COVID-19 curve continues to flatten in Alberta, 54 new cases confirmed

Alberta continues to see more people recover from COVID-19 and fewer new cases.

AHS confirm 54 new cases in Alberta. Three new cases were reported in the AHS Central zone increasing the total to 94 but there were no changes to the areas surrounding Lloydminster.

The County of Vermilion still has two active cases and two recoveries while the MD of Wainwright has one recovery.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Alberta is now 6,017 with 3,809 listed as recovered and 2,094 are active.

The number of COVID-19 related deaths increased by two bringing the total number of fatalities in the province to 114.

Over 174,000 tests have been done province-wide and just over 13,300 tests were conducted in the Central zone.
