Alberta reports 96 new COVID-19 cases, one death

Alberta reported 96 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, May 10 as well as one death.

The total number of deaths in the province is now at 117 while the total number of cases is 6,253. Of those cases, 1,747 are considered active and 4,389 are listed as recovered.

There are 71 people in hospital and 13 of them are in the ICU.

In the Central zone, there were three new cases. There has been 99 cases in the zone with 17 of them currently active.

The County of Vermilion River has two active cases and three recoveries and the MD of Wainwright has one recovery.

To date, 185,293 tests have been conducted in the province.
