45 new COVID-19 cases in Alberta, one death

AHS has confirmed another 45 positive cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.

The provincial total of COVID-19 cases is 6,345 with 4,866 of them considered recovered and 1,361 cases are still active.

One more Albertan has died in relation to the virus bringing the total number of deaths to 118. There are 73 people being treated in hospital with 12 in the intensive care units.

There are 105 active cases and 559 recoveries at continuing care centres in the province.

One case of COVID-19 was moved out of the Central zone making the total number of cases 98 in the zone. In the County of Vermilion River, there are two active cases and three recoveries. There is also one recovery in the MD of Wainwright.

Over 191,000 tests have been completed across the province as over 3,000 tests were done in the past 24 hours.
