One more COVID-19 recovery in County of Vermilion River, one active case remains

One more person has recovered from COVID-19 in the County of Vermilion River. There are now four recoveries and one active case in the county.

Another 50 new cases were recorded in Alberta in the latest update, none of which were reported in the AHS Central zone.

Across the province there is a total of 5,205 recoveries and 1,311 active cases. Of the active cases, 65 are in the hospital with 10 of those in the intensive care unit.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw also reported one more death at a Calgary continuing care facility. There has been 121 deaths related to COVID-19 in Alberta.

Over 4,000 tests were processed in the past 24-hours and over 200,000 tests have been done throughout the province.
