Man wanted for second degree murder could be in Lloydminster

Police say a man wanted for second degree murder in North Battleford could be in Lloydminster.

RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Micheal Jordan White of Sweetgrass First Nation for the second-degree murder of Todd Levi Stone. White is described as 5’7″, 180 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair.

Mounties believe White left North Battleford and could be in Lloydminster.

Battlefords RCMP and EMS were called to a residence on the 800 block of 110 Street to help a man with a significant head injury on May 12. They found 38-year-old Stone unconscious and transported him to a hospital in Saskatoon. Stone was declared dead on May 13.

RCMP were told Stone and another man were involved in an argument that same day. After an autopsy on May 19, Stone’s death was declared to be a homicide.

Anyone with information on the incident on May 12, White or his whereabouts is asked to call Battlefords RCMP at 306-446-1720 or their local RCMP detachment. People can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) to stay anonymous.
