Stolen truck and trailer recovered in Newfoundland, Lloydminster man arrested

Deer Lake RCMP out of Newfoundland and Labrador say they have arrested a Lloydminster man.

In the early morning on May 31st, Deer Lake police pulled over a man driving a pickup and pulling an 30-foot enclosed trailer.

After running the plates, they found that the plate did not match, and the trailer had allegedly been stolen in Alberta in April.

The accused suspect is a 28-year-old man from Lloydminster, who has ties to Newfoundland and Labrador.
He is facing stolen property charges. He has been released and will appear in court in September of 2020.
