Section of 50 St. closed for water and sewer main replacement

A portion of 50th Street will be closed starting Monday, June 15.

Rusway Construction will begin replacing the water and sewer mains along the street from 51 to 52 Avenue, near the Alberta Provincial Court and the Olive Tree.

Both intersections will be closed and detour routes will be marked with signs.

The curb and gutters will also be replaced and a new asphalt surface will be laid after the mains are replaced.

Construction is expected to wrap up by mid-September, weather permitting.
