Two Bobcats named to Canada West roster at WJAC

Two Lloydminster Bobcats have made the Canada West roster for the 2015 World Junior A Challenge.

Forwards, Noah Bauld and Troy Van Tetering have made the team, which will competed against teams from all over the world in Cobourg and Whitby, Ontario, from December 13-20. Bauld and Van Tetering were two of four players invited to the camp, with defenceman Cole Josefchak and forward Evan Tschumi not making the cut. They will represent the first Bobcats to play at the WJAC since goaltender Tyler Briggs in 2011.

Other athletes connected with the Border City will be playing in the tournament, with Lloydminster native, Tyler Busch, who currently plays for the Spruce Grove Saints also named to the roster.

Canada West will kick off the tournament against the Czech Republic.
