Lloydminster City Hall, RCMP detachment physically re-opening Monday

Lloydminster’s City Hall will be re-opening Monday, but at a limited capacity.

Starting on June 29th, people can come in for tax services, social programs and services. In-person council and governance meetings will also resume again. These services will be at a limited capacity so that physical distancing can be maintained, however.

The city says the re-opening is primarily for residents who can’t pay their taxes or utilities online, and they still encourage people to use those methods if they can. People can do this online, over the phone or by mail, either sent to City Hall or dropped in the City mailbox. Pre-authorized debit payments are also an option.

City Hall’s hours will be 10 AM to 5 PM until July 2nd, after which normal hours of 8 AM to 5 PM will resume. Front-facing services at the RCMP will also resume on June 29th. The City’s Operations Centre is scheduled to reopen July 6, 2020.

Rules on physical distancing, proper handwashing and people staying home if they are sick are all still in place.
