The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority has announced all seven of their casino properties including Gold Horse Casino will reopen on July 9 at 6 p.m.
Afterwards, Gold Horse Casino will operate from noon to 2 a.m. at reduced capacity following provincial health guidelines. Markers will be placed inside and outside of the building, high touch areas will be sanitized frequently and deep cleans are planned for every night. Hand sanitizer will be available for visitors and slot machines can be sanitized upon request.
All employees will receive COVID-19 safety protocol training and are required to wear a mask or face shield and pass a pre-screening process before entering the facility. Plexiglass barriers will also be installed at the Players Club desk and other parts of the facility. Guests are also required to wear a mask.

I’m very excited for our team members to return to what they do best – providing the best entertainment experience possible for our guests, even if that experience now looks a bit different,” says Zane Hansen, SIGA President and CEO.
SIGA mentions they will also help in contact tracing for a period of time and ensure they will maintain the confidentiality of visitors. As part of these procedures, visitors will have to check-in before entering the casino and provide either a Players club card or give their name and contact number.
Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford will also be reopening on the same day from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
